My sister is currently pregnant and her prenatal care is being covered by Medicaid (in Arkansas). My husband and I are planning to adopt her baby right at birth. Will Medicaid still cover the prenatal care and birth expenses, or will we be expected to reimburse these costs?

I claim my father in law as a dependant, he does not work, if he was to get Medicaid assistance, how would it affect me in regards claiming him as a dependant? Would it affect the amount I get back or pay?

My friends dtr is pg. She does not have health coverage and their car is to new to get on Medicaid. I do not know much about this area. They just were married 3 months ago and they do own a home but they have only had it a year. So there is no equity in it. They are both in their last year of college. He has a new mustang and her car is older. From what their mother said, the car is holding them back from help. Where can they go medical care? Is there financing for this? Are there web sites I have not ran into yet? We are in Texas and thanks for the advice!
My understanding is they did apply and were turned down. The car was mostly paid for by his parents. So his payments are VERY low and they need a dependable car. They still cover his insurance and cell phone bill till he gets out of school. The house payment is cheeper than their apartment rent. I know their rent was up in the 800s and the house cheeper. Thanks for all the help. I think we have a direction now.
